From the childhood I always curious about how things work. Most of the time electronic devices. So I tried different circuit diagrams.
For nearly three years I studied computer hardware diploma when I was grade seven to nine while schooling.
When I was in grade 8 I was curious as mentioned above. So I accidentally read O/L ICT text book and made calculator program using VB.NET. Later I bought two books about VB.NET and made different small software.
I selected ICT as basket subject in O/L's. That time I met great IT teacher at the school and this led me to IT field.
After O/L's I did diploma in ICT. During this time I learned C#, Java and ASP.NET
I selected ICT as main subject in A/L's. This time also I met great IT teachers at the school and classes. At last year of A/L's I asked to develop a software by classmate for his future business. So I started it with help with the help from others.
Meanwhile doing A/L's I did computerized accounting diploma. Also I finished friend's software. At that time I really enjoyed developing software. So I developed another updated version of same software and sold it to another company. This time its same as ERP system. In my projects you could see more details about this software called 'Sistack'. Since childhood I'm curious, I wanted to learn computer networks. So I joined CCNA program at SLIIT and completed first stage.
Sistack 2nd updated version listed for Best Application category in 'SLT Zero One Awards'. However I couldn't achieve 1st place.
I had much interest in Software Engineering and wanted to learn it properly. So after A/L's I joined to NSBM Green University to study software engineering.
As my teachers taught ICT for me, I wanted to teach it to others to spark their interest in technology specially in IT. So in evenings I started ICT class for small group.
In 2019 I busy with final year of degree and other some personal projects...
I joined to a USA based software company as Software Engineer. And learning.... Meanwhile, I'm a visiting lecturer at a famous private institute in Sri Lanka. Also I'm studying completely different field and readying to sit on competitive exam in Sri Lanka. Who knows what happens. Yes that's future !
